법무부에서 주관하는 사회통합프로그램은 한국에 온 이민자들이 안정적으로
정착할 수있도록 적응에 필요한 기본 소양(한국어와 한국문화, 한국사회이해 등)을
교육하며 이들의 사회 적응과 자립을 돕는 지원 프로그램 입니다.

첫째, 영주 자격 신청 시
- 기본 소양 요건 충족 인정
- 실태 조사 면제 가능
둘째, 사증(비자) 신청 시
- 한국어 능력 및 관련 소양 입증 절차 면제
셋째, 체류 자격 신청 시
- 가산점 부여
- 한국어 능력 입증 생략 가능
넷째, 귀화 신청 시
- 귀화용 종합평가 합격 인정
- 귀화 면접 심사 면제
- 국적 심사 절차 대기시간 단축
